What's New at the parks in 2011
theme parks and Orlando attractions are beginning 2011 with new additions that are interesting and exciting. SeaWorld Orlando in late April release "One Ocean", a new spectacle of whales. This show, replacing "Believe," will feature simultaneous performances of whales, including acrobatic high jumps and interactive. Disney's Hollywood Studios recently introduced a new parade named "Pixar Pals Countdown to Fun" and announced the new attraction Star Tours 3-D, which opens May 20. unveiled its new VisitOrlando.com offering a complete vacation planning and easy to use. With a fresh new look, improved planning tools and a booking engine through a partnership with Travelocity ®, new website is now the solution for search, planning and booking vacation to Orlando. To start planning your vacation, travelers can use the "Idea Generator for the Journey," which offers a variety of ideas to the extent based on areas of interest. Central Florida attractions
Fun Spot Action Park, Located near International Drive, announced plans for expansion. The park is 13 years old and 5 acres (2 hectares), acquired 10 acres (4 hectares) adjacent to triple its size. The expanded park will feature more tracks, games and a smaller version of the exciting SkyCoaster found in Fun Spot USA in Kissimmee. Gatorland began construction of its new zip line, scheduled for open in the summer of 2011. The Screamin 'Gator Zip Line take people along a journey of 1,200 feet (366 meters).
