We usually manifest stages of our lives, labeled with a good element that identifies us, songs , colors, logos, phrases, etc.. What we do is nothing more than express a series of events that are related to how they grow and also as we realize.
An old acquaintance once told me that all about leapfrogging, like a video game, maybe only here (in daily life) there is no "level" end, but in each level and know how to move, to do's and don'ts, what weapons to use and what not, etc. You see the pleasure of saying at some point that you know very well "as the thing" objectified sometimes this can not be defined in a single expression, even with the simple "that's life."
